Social Justice

In line with our work with First Nations communities, Cedar Law is committed to doing its part to create a society in which we respect and protect the rights of all in balance with the good of society as a whole.   As a result, we sometimes accept clients outside of our First Nations practice.

Past work has included:

  • advocating for children with disabilities
  • representing children with disabilities at the Human Rights Tribunal
  • providing advice on harassment
  • representing disabled adults in disability insurance cases
  • advocating for university students with disabilities
  • advocating for students at all levels of education
  • representing community groups in environmental protection matters
